9 Hole Golf Course

When you stay at Wairakei Resort Hotel Taupo, your ‘backyard’ is your own 9-hole golf course!
Our 9-hole course is a par 34, 1941 metres, with the
longest hole measuring 366 metres and is an easy-walking course amongst
lovely scenery and mature trees. A round here is great fun - and can be
challenging for golfers of all skill levels, or a perfect warm up for a
round ‘next door’, at the world-acclaimed Wairakei International Golf Course (just a short stroll from the our Taupo resort).
At the Golf Inn you can hire Golf Clubs and Trundlers, plus there's an
array of Golfing merchandise that can be purchased including Caps and
Umbrellas.
There are three 18-hole golf courses in the Taupo region including the recently opened
Kinloch Golf Course designed by Jack Nacklaus, the Centennial Golf Course and the Tauhara Golf Course.
With a course to suit all levels there’s no place like Taupo to come and
play the weekend away. Base yourself at Bayview Wairakei Resort and you
can come home to a relaxing spa or swim in the geothermal pools. Our
Taupo resort boasts a practice putting green, free for all guests to use
also.
