Mount Ruapehu’s Whakapapa Ski Field is the largest commercial ski field in New Zealand, with 550 hectares of white slopes offering fun and challenges for all levels of skill.
Impressive off-piste areas, the dedicated learner’s area Happy Valley, awesome all-terrain parks for snowboarders and free-skiers and absolutely stunning views are all on offer at Mount Ruapehu. Ski hire is offered, lessons are available with professional instructors and there is also a crèche on the mountain.
