Since the late 1800’s Bayview Wairakei Resort has accommodated guests from around the world. Superbly situated on 169 acres of geothermal wonderland, its located just 9km north of the Lake Taupo township on State Highway 1. Driving to Bayview Wairakei Resort is approximately 3.5 hours from Auckland and 4.5 hours from Wellington. Direct daily flights from both cities into Taupo Airport are approximately 1 hour.
This purpose built conference facility with a dedicated conference team and AV company can entertain up to 600 guests, with brilliant recreational facilities to enhance any conference.

Fairways Café all day menu offers a fantastic selection of bistro style meals from light salads to hearty steak. Open from 10.00am daily this is a great café style venue for all occasions.
House Bars - Bayview Wairakei Resort has three bars, each with its own unique style. The Geyser House Bar is elegant in atmosphere and location making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. Enjoy a cool, refreshing beverage at the 19th Hole Bar and play a game of Billiards before dinner. This adjoins our private nightclub.
