Wairakei Resort Taupō has two geothermally heated swimming pools for guests to enjoy all year around. The lower pool located near the villas is our lap pool, while the upper pool is a lagoon-style family pool that is located beyond the hotel’s reception area and opposite the Waiora Wing. Both pools come with standard changing facilities and towels are readily available from reception.
The swimming pools are open to guests from 6.00 AM to 11.00 PM daily. All children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
During summer months, the Upper lagoon-style Pool boasts a seasonal pool bar offering a wide variety of drinks, summer cocktails and nibbles. Soak up the sun on the deck or poolside on a lounger, with stunning nature of the resort as your backdrop.
Lap Pool located near the villas with standard changing facilities and towels are readily available from reception.
